1.1 Use Future Simple to make spontaneous decisions or offers at the moment of speaking.

I'll help you with that.

We'll take care of it.

When the offer is a question we use Shall…?

1.2 Use Future Simple to make predictions about what you think will happen in the future.


We often use I think / I don’t think / I’m sure in this case.


Examples

I think it will rain tomorrow.


1.3 Use Future Simple to make promises.


Examples

I won’t tell anybody.


1.4 Use «will you (please) + base verb» to make polite and direct requests. Use «Shall I/we» to make polite offers or formal suggestions.


Examples

Will you help me with this assignment?

Shall I help you with your bags? (offer)
